WHO WE ARE

Believing that each individual is a potential nation, our vision is to transform (inside-out) and build (develop) nations (individuals and all that pertain to them, especially communities) spiritually, socially, psychologically, economically and educationally and through infrastructural development by putting our hands, and mobilizing others to put their hands in God's Hand (the Saving Hand).

Thus, our aims and objectives include the following:

  • To focus on reaching out to communities who are seemingly limited in development spiritually, socially, psychologically, economically and educationally and through infrastructural development.
  • To carry out programs and projects that will bring about the realization of our vision in a way that will lead to the transformation and development of our communities.
  • To identify and address needs of our communities in the areas of education (formal and informal, including skills development); spiritually (evangelism and discipleship); socially (connected with the community and the way it is organized and interpersonal relationships), psychologically (connected with their bodies, health and mental needs), economically (connected with improving the economy i.e. financial standard of the community) and infrastructural needs as highlighted by our vision, thus making their lives better as far as they would cooperate with us.
  • To develop policies, strategies, procedures and guidelines for the transformation and development of communities, strengthening the capacity of workers and partners of the organization.
  • To implement needs assessment strategies to help us assess the needs of our communities so as to meet their specific needs.
  • To carry out educational programs (formal and informal trainings) and projects in different areas in line with our vision, that will enrich our audience which could be communities, schools, organizations and other groups in order to prepare them for life, creating in them an enthusiasm for education such that they will be willing to further their education beyond secondary school and be reckoned with anywhere in the society at large.
  •   To help our communities imbibe good social culture that will help them relate and cooperate better as a community and with the society at large.
  • To engage in advocacy and partnership with NGOs and relevant government organizations, and other organizations that share in one aspect or the other of our vision in order to adequately reach out to our communities and achieve our programs and projects, maximizing available resources to achieve much.
  •   To engage in outreaches and trainings in areas highlighted by our vision that will help individuals in our communities find their purpose in life and live more purposeful lives.
  • Helping individuals within our communities to be transformed into agents of transformation so that they would join in facilitating our vision wherever they find themselves.

Abstract On this International Day of Conscience, we reflect on the delicate balance between righteous indignation and ethical responsibility. This article examines a 2025 incident in Nigeria where an activist’s public confrontation of a struggling mother and her 11‐year‐old daughter escalated into a humiliating episode.  The case, which involved the exposure of the child’s face in violation of child protection guidelines, ultimately led to a public apology from the activist and compassionate intervention from well-meaning Nigerians including the famous chess player and philanthropist Tunde Onakoya, and the founder of Buchymix, who stepped in and offered to support the child’s education and the family's welfare, including accomodation.  Through this analysis, we explore the complexities of activism that neglects empathy and the need for a conscientious approach in public discourse. Introduction Conscience guides us in differentiating right from wrong, yet its application in pu...
