As the world celebrates young people and their aspirations this International Youth Day, the Saving Hand Development Initiative (SHADE-IN) has an extra reason to celebrate. 💙💚🧡
We are celebrating ONE YEAR of the SHADE-IN Teens Hub since its relaunch! 🎊
On 28 July 2026, the SHADE-IN Teens Hub marked one year since its relaunch — one year of creating spaces where young people can learn, grow, discover their potential and become purpose-driven changemakers.
Celebrating the Community Behind the Impact
As we celebrate International Youth Day, we are not only celebrating young people. We are celebrating the community that chooses to invest in them. ❤️
To our Mentors and Facilitators, thank you for generously giving your knowledge, skills, experience and time to nurture young minds.
To our Management Team and Volunteers, thank you for the administrative support, coordination and commitment that make the work possible.
To our Mentees and Young People, thank you for showing up, being willing to learn, asking questions and embracing opportunities to grow.
To our Parents, thank you for supporting your children to learn, participate, develop their skills and become all they can be.
Together, we have contributed to digital literacy, leadership development, life skills, mentorship and values-based growth, helping young people gain knowledge, confidence, skills and hope for a brighter future.
🌱 One Year. Many Lives. A Growing Legacy.
The past year has reminded us that meaningful youth development does not happen in isolation. It happens when people with different experiences and contexts come together around common aspirations for a better future.
It takes mentors who show up.
Volunteers who serve.
Parents who support.
Young people who are willing to learn.
And a community that believes their future is worth investing in.
That is what we celebrate today:
